Urdu keyboard mapping is on by default in the editor. Press English keyboard keys to enter Urdu letters as you type; Space only adds a space. Turn Urdu off to type English. See the typing section of the writing guide.

Documents are saved in this browser on this device. They are not uploaded to an Urdu Writer account or synchronized to another device. Clearing browser/site data may remove them, so export backups of important work.

Not through cloud sync—account sign-in and cloud storage are not connected. Export a copy from the editor, transfer it to the other device, and open the supported file there.

Yes. On the home page, choose Open a TXT file, select your file, and review the text and line breaks in the editor after it loads.

Download an Urdu Writer JSON project file to keep editor formatting. A TXT file keeps plain text only. Keep downloaded copies somewhere separate from your browser.

In the editor, choose Print / PDF. In your browser’s print dialog, select a printer or choose the option to save as PDF. Check the page preview, margins, and Urdu font rendering before printing.

Yes. Select a template from the home page to open it in the editor, then replace all sample names, dates, and other details with accurate information before using it.

No. The login, sign-up, and Google sign-in controls are currently interface-only. They do not create accounts, and details entered there are not sent or saved.

The feedback page is ready, but feedback is not delivered or saved until its Supabase database is configured. The page will show a message if submissions are unavailable.

Visit the Contact Us page for available support options. The feedback form cannot deliver submissions until online storage is configured.
