Current service status: Documents are stored in your browser. Account sign-in, Supabase feedback storage, and Google AdSense are not currently connected.
Information stored on your device
When you create or edit a document, its name, content, and last-updated time are stored in your browser’s local storage so the editor can reopen it on that device. This data is not sent to an Urdu Writer document server. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to access locally stored documents. Clearing browser/site storage can permanently remove them; export a backup if a document matters to you.
Files you select are read by your browser to open them in the editor. The current application does not upload those file contents to an Urdu Writer server.
Feedback and account forms
The feedback page is prepared to send a category, rating, message, optional email address, page URL, and submission time to a Supabase database. Supabase is not configured yet, so the form currently reports that it cannot save feedback. If the database is enabled, this policy and the form notice must be kept accurate, and submissions will be handled under the database provider’s privacy terms.
The login, sign-up, and Google sign-in controls are interface-only at this time. They do not create accounts or transmit or save the credentials entered into them.
Fonts and hosting
This site requests fonts from Google Fonts. A request to a third-party font service may disclose technical connection information, such as your IP address and browser request details, to that provider. Review the Google Privacy Policy. The hosting provider may also process standard server and security logs.
Advertising and cookies
Google AdSense ads are not currently installed on this site, and this site has not added advertising cookies or ad-tracking code. If advertising is enabled later, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to store or access information on a visitor’s browser, measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted by the visitor’s choices and applicable law, personalize advertising.
Before displaying ads, the operator will update this policy with the active advertising providers and data practices, provide any disclosures and choices required in each visitor’s region, and configure an appropriate consent solution where required. For information about Google’s advertising data and controls, visit How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google My Ad Center.
Your choices and document safety
You can delete saved documents from their cards on the home page or clear this site’s browser storage. You may choose not to provide optional contact details in feedback. Do not use a shared device for sensitive writing unless you are comfortable with other users of that browser profile being able to access it.
Children and contact
Urdu Writer is a general writing tool, not a service designed to collect personal information from children. For privacy questions or requests, visit the Contact Us page.
